This is my entry for the breast cancer awareness art contest being sponsored by theotaku.com and AnimeFF, a non-profit anime convention in Las Vegas. I used Photoshop for some color correction, but otherwise, the entire thing was painted in Painter. I kind of lost track of how much time it took (actually, I forgot to start keeping track), but I can say that I spent way too long on it... C&C away!

I've finally gotten around to modifying this painting a bit. The main changes are in her face, in her back, and in the background colors. Also, I never did like the "ribbon" in her belt--it was admittedly a bit of an afterthought to make this painting more related to breast cancer awareness--so I changed it to something more like what I originally had in mind. All the alterations were done in Photoshop.
